Where does the money go?
Our Stars of Texas Gala is the organization’s biennial fundraiser.
The 2020 Stars of Texas Gala included Former US Secretary and Texas Governor Rick Perry, Congressman Louie Gohmert, and Congressman Pat Fallon. It was billed as the biggest political rally in Upshur County by KLTV’s Bob Hallmark.
Funds collected enables ET4L:
to organize free monthly public meetings, which include a complimentary dinner;
to share the voice of the VOTER during the state legislative sessions, in Austin;
to provide an educational scholarship for an academic or trade school;
to support local & Senate District wide law enforcement; and
to support our county’s most vulnerable children through the Rainbow Room.
