July 14 - Melanie Wright with Hannah House and HEPTA Coalition Longview
July 14 at Barbwire Halo Cowboy Church 6761 SH 154 W., Gilmer, 6:30 pm.
Speaker: Melanie Wright with Hannah House and HEPTA (Hope. Educate. Partner, Transform Aftercare) Coalition Longview.
For the past eight years, Melanie has served as the Director of Hannah House, a maternity home where she supports women facing crisis pregnancies. Hannah House offers hope, resources, and the unwavering message that every life is valuable. Melanie passionately advocates for life and provides compassionate alternatives to women in need, standing firmly against abortion.
In response to the heartbreaking increase of trafficking survivors coming to Hannah House, Melanie launched the HEPTA Coalition Longview. This outreach program brings healing, restoration, and resources to survivors of human trafficking, reflecting her deep commitment to bringing light into dark places.
Melanie embodies her values of faith, family, and freedom, believing wholeheartedly in loving her neighbor as herself. Whether helping a mother in need, a child without a home, or a survivor seeking a fresh start, Hannah House and HEPTA Coalition Longview are ready to assist with an open heart.
Married to her husband, Alan, for 30 wonderful years, together they have raised six children, and joyfully embrace the role of grandparents to three grandchildren. With a heart for service and a home filled with love, Melanie and Alan have homeschooled their children and served as foster parents for years, always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
