Food Freedom with Clay Steelman
January 13 at Barbwire Halo Cowboy Church 6761 SH 154 W., Gilmer, at 6:30 pm
Our first meeting will be regarding the hot topic of Food Safety. You may recall that Donald J. Trump, the President-Elect, announced Robert F. Kennedy as his choice to oversee the Department of Health and Human Services. Kennedy seeks to “Make America Healthy Again.”
The main speaker will be Clay Steelman, a twenty-year retired law enforcement veteran, co-owner of Steel Mill Farms, and a lifelong resident of Upshur County. Steelman will speak about “Food Freedom” and how the often-overlooked notion of “food” is vital to a free and independent people. Steelman will also discuss the freedom that comes with family food storage plans and the numerous benefits of buying real and local food.
Steelman is married to his high school sweetheart and has two children, who are heavily involved in church and sports. Steelman is passionate about his faith, freedom, liberty, and the vigorous defense of all three.
Preceding Clay Steelman will be a brief update from the Republican Party of Upshur County Chairman Carl Byers.
“In his effort to continue to have the Republican Party, under his leadership, remain transparent and accessible to the voters in Upshur, Chairman Byers will be providing an update,” said Stacy McMahan, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director of East Texans for Liberty. “A question and answer period will follow.”
Dinner is available for purchase; orders may be placed between 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm.
