Starting this month, ET4L is excited to begin highlighting hardworking local businesses! The first business is Property Management Services located in Gilmer.
Property Management Services was established in 2009. Services include trucking, land clearing, dump truck work, driveway building, and land management. The proprietor is a 50-year resident and benevolent community servant David Royer.
“Royer has handled several jobs around our place. He built the pad for my mother-in-law’s cottage, a rock road, and our entrance. He did a great job and I would definitely use him again,” said Trent Coon of Gilmer.
“David Royer built my driveway using crushed concrete. He did a great job, and the price was very reasonable. Also, he has delivered several loads of dirt. He is good people to do business with,” says Lisa Sneed of Gilmer.
Mr. Royer has dedicated many years to Upshur County. He has been the EMS Director, START Triage Program instructor, and was instrumental in obtaining grants to fund Jaws of Life tools for several local VFDs. He was also the founder of the area’s first Farm Rescue Program.
No matter the hat he has worn, — e.g. former volunteer firefighter, veteran paramedic, instrumental in coordinating an Economic Development Program, 911 Coordinator, or current landman services and the Republican Party of Upshur County Precinct Chair for Precinct 18 — Mr. Royer continues to selflessly give to our community.
